Not for nothing, but wouldn't you research before buying or adopting a dog. Terriers are known to be crazy and high strung and energetic. I hate people sometimes.

No...people definitely don't research before getting a dog. We have a weimaraner which is notorious for being high energy and lot's of attention. We got her from a couple who had purchased her at a pet store cuz she was cute. They could not deal with her.
We got her through the Weimaraner rescue and, knowing what we were getting into, have given her plenty of exercise and attention and have ended up with the sweetest dog.
People see a dog that looks cute and get it with no thought as to what the long term outcome is going to be.

Anytime people ask me what breed Katie is I say she's a Jack Russell Terrier... and then I explain that she is calmer than most and was difficult as a puppy. I have a whole speech about terriers that I give. They are not for everyone.
