It depends. Some sono machines allow people to hear the heartbeat at the sono early on in the pregnancy. I heard the heartbeat for the first time with a doppler at the doctor's office. I was 11 weeks.

On a sonogram they can pick it up earler than on a doppler.

On my 8 week sono we heard it, and at around 11/12 weeks, they heard it on the doppler I think (although they said that was early for the doppler).

they might, depends on what kind of sono equip they have.

My doc told me it depending on your size. If your tiny thing you can hear the babys heart beat pretty early.

I heard the HB at 7w5d. I had an internal sono and heard through the HB through that........not an external doppler.

i heard it for at my ultra screen at 11 weeks. But the tech at the Madonna office Chat Icon only let me listen for half a sec. But that was the first time I heard it

I am 15 weeks had still havent heard mine!!!

At my ultrascreen I just had a sonogram and didnt see the dr.

I have an appointment on Tuesday (16 weeks) and I hope to hear it then!
