Decision made.
I've been wavering back and forth all week about what to do, forge ahead with IVF, or take one last ditch effort with the laparscopic surgery.
And then I saw my RE on Saturday for monitoring for this last medicated cycle. And it turns out, for the first time since I started all of this, my FSH level was "slighly elevated" - 11.5. It's ALWAYS been below 10.
Well, there's nothing like a bad FSH report to light a fire under your arse to make a decision. This is it - I don't have time to stall and wait to see if the laparscopic surgery may help us get pregnant with medicated IUI's. Time is of the essence, and clearly my body is telling me the time is NOW.
So, I'm calling tomorrow and setting up my IVF consult

Glad you made a decision too. There was no bad decision here, just two different directions. We'll be with you the whole way. IVF is easier than you think. You've done most of it already.

Great news!! What a sense of relief you must feel having that decision made.
Just so you know, my FSH was a 14 when I started this IVF cycle and I am now 9 weeks pg, so stay positive!
