my heart breaks for them!
so i'm on babycenter and replied to a military mommies thread on there cause DH is in the Navy....there were a few girls on there who were voicing their fears of being deployed after giving birth...can you imagine? one girl even said she's a reservist and had to be deployed once for 18 **MONTHS** and that she's terrified of having that happen again soon after her baby is born...i can't imagine what that would be like for them!   one girl said she had to leave on deployment when her baby was 9 months and came back when the baby was 13 months...that's not as bad, but still! i cannot imagine what they go through and thank them so much for their sacrifice!! 
ps - thankfully DH is a recruiter and won't have to get deployed anywhere for the remainder of his time in the Navy. Thank God...

My husband is in the Army Reserves, I am due in October...his unit is scheduled for deployment in October.
My head hurts every single day worrying about whether he will be there for the birth of his child.

OMG!! How scary! You are so strong... I would not be able to handle DH leaving at all. I hope your hubby is here for your baby's birth!!

I cannot imagine having to leave my chlid as a woman like those woman have to...THAT is strong.
Most likely my DH will NOT be sent anywhere (I pray)...but like we all know, the military can change its mind at any given time to their advantage.
