What size do you think I should get
It states if you're going to put it over clothing to get one size bigger....I'll post the sizing chart and the actual bunting...but I want to get this to cover the baby up when we bring it home from the hospital or even for the first few doctors visits.....
What size....I'm thinking the 3mos size...

Re: What size do you think I should get
I'm getting the same thing! I'm not sure what size--I was thinking about it recently, too. But now it looks like I might have to have a c-section 3-4 weeks early, so my baby might be small. I'm going to wait to see if I'm having the section early. Also- the growth sono might help predict how big the baby will be. I think newborn will be too small, but 0-3 might work.

Re: What size do you think I should get
Honestly, there is a huge difference even between the birth weight and the coming home weight. I would let someone in your family know what you want and once your DC is born have them buy it while you are in the hospital or buy 2 sizes and return it. I will say that the Drs were very far off in prediciting DCs weight, and the sizing did not match the actual weight anyway.

Re: What size do you think I should get
If you do get 3-6 months, I think it will be huge on a newborn...even a newborn on the larger side.

Re: What size do you think I should get
i was actually thinking of getting it in two sizes because I'm due early december (though now I may deliver mid november) and the baby will need it through march and they grow so fast at that stage. Plus, not all the clothes she wears will be that bulky because inside is always heated. That's part of the beauty of this product. You wont have to put the baby in big bulky clothes and this will keep her warm when outside.

Not necessarily true.. my DC wieghed 10lbs.1oz..at birth, and was 22 3/4 inches long..HE WAS HUGE lol i had to give away every newborn and 0-3 garment i had...he came home in a snug size 1 pamper.. his bunting was a popcorn bunting from Charlottes Kids in Massapequa, which i will buy again...it says newborn but it is more like 3-6 mths..it has been HUGE for all my other friends ive bought it for..and yet it fit my son perfectly from October-early Dec. THATS IT. lol Im due in January this time, im gonna get this again i think..its quiet beautiful... the one you picked, i would definately say the 10-14lbs size is perfect, unless theyre sayin your baby is VERY large like mine was.... i think normal people need the 0-3 months you were originally buying..only big baby makin maniacs like me need the bigger one lol

yea it definately will be...but due to some health issues i now have, this baby will MOST LIKELY not be NEARLY as big as my last...im almost 16w and have lost 3 lbs..babys growing fine, thankfully living off of stored fat, which IM SURE i have enough of lol
If for some reason they estimate this DC at 8lbs, (which they did for my TEN PONDER) i would buy everything 3-6 again...nothing 0-3.. If the baby looks under 8...then id buy the 0-3 like the original poster..

This is really cute and looks really warm, but do you think that it will be difficult to buckle the baby into the carseat properly?

I'd be concerned about that too. It's really cute though. If you're getting a Bundle Me or something to that effect, you should be fine. I've heard that keeps the baby really warm.
I refuse to look at clothes yet b/c I'll want to buy everything.

I dont' see that, it doesn't seem that that bulky...we'll see, I'm getting the bundle me as well so if I dont' feel comfortable with how its buckling, I'll just use the bundle me....

I'd be worried about this too especially with a brand new baby only a couple of days old. A lot of what I read says that bulky clothes under baby in the car seat cause the straps to not be as tight as they should be. It is super cute though!!!

Re: What size do you think I should get
I would get 0-3 - DD was 9lbs 4 ounces at birth - I never ended up using newborn clothing - but her 0-3 was HUGE on her - so there is a chance you might get some use out it. I know some of my friends children were out of 0-3 in less than 1 month - it just depends on quickly they grow and how big they are at birth.
