We call it the baby, jalapeno, or the little one.
I call it Sola. DH calls it Uno. This came about when we learned there was only one baby in there.

On LIF, the baby is Ed-lie Bubbles.
My family calls her "Pinky" because thats what my 5 year old nephew picked for her. I KNOW it will stick!

at first "itty bitty" bc at the 1st sonogram, the baby was just this itty bitty little thing.
after the 2nd sonogram i started calling the baby "little duck" because as i was walking to the dr, i saw a painting of a momma duck followed by a bunch of little ducks and it melted my heart and i decided that's what i would call the baby.
dh also calls the baby "pollito" meaning little chick in spanish.

Back when we were dating, and first ventured into the topic of kids, my husband - after a few glasses of wine - thought that the prospect of conceiving was so cool, that he broke out in song: the old Motown 'Joy to the World.' I thought he had forgotten this, until he saw our first sonogram, hence the name. (Better than 'Jeremiah Bullfrog!")

When I first found out that I was pregnant, we called the baby "the dot" because that's what it looked like on my first sono. "The dot" has stayed with my parents like my dad will ask how is his grand dot? My mom will ask, what's the dot doing?.
As the baby started getting bigger, DH and I have been calling it peanut. These days, I've been calling it monkey because it moves around a lot.
Oh, yesterday I read that Jax from General Hospital and his fiancee had a baby boy the beginning of the month. They named him Peanut Kai. The reason that they named him Peanut because that was what they were calling him when he was in the womb. What is wrong with these people??????

Seriously, not cute at all, but when we first told my Mom, she told us in her stern Irish way,now don't go telling everybody, the wee thing is just a comma...
Plus I'm an English teacher, so its fitting.
DH calls "us" one and one ninth. We outvote him now.
this is hysterical..i have the irish accent in my family, so i can relate hahaha
My DC is "shrimpie" cause on our honeymoon to Portugal i had to eat alot of seafood b/c i dont eat meat, until they brought my shrimp dinner out, and it kinda grossed me out that the shrimps have heads and eyes, and resemble lil embryos lollllllllll
They eat em like that over there..

lately she's just "Bubbles" has been since 8 weeks..
But at the sign of my ditigal stick she was known to me as "The creature within"
Still call her critter and the creature.. but my hubby and dad both have called her bubbles since my first doctor visit back in January.
