What else could Dh get & expose me to!
Last week he had strep throat, really bad, really high fever, we had to go to the ER. I was terrified I was going to get it but so far I have been in the clear.
He wakes up today with some kind of skin rash. Small red bumps, all close together ALL OVER his arms, back and stomach 
He has to work so we are going to the Dr tonight. Hopefully they can diagnose it quickly so we will know if I have been exposed to anything bad
UPDATE -
Turns out DH is allergic to Penicllin. He must have developed an allergy to it so he was having a reaction to the medicine for the strep throat. So everything is fine - he feels fine - as a matter of fact he is building a new deck for the house as we speak.

I hope nothing serious, but wash those sheets today, and try to avoid skin contact with him.

Did your DH get a positive strep test? I ask this because a few years ago, DH had the same symptoms, terrible sore throat, fever.. he went to the dr. and they gave him amoxicillin for strep.
A couple of days later he got a rash, like the one you describe, all over!
Turns out he had mono, not strep, and mono+amoxicillin can cause a rash to break out on the body.

wow. I dont know if the test came back +. I am assuming bc his other symptoms went away almost right away after taking the antibiotic but I will confirm tonight at the Dr.

Oh geez. Like you need to worry about this!
I reread your post. Hopefully it's just what Sweettooth said. Can he call the dr and see how the strep test came back, if they did one?

I reread your post. Hopefully it's just what Sweettooth said. Can he call the dr and see how the strep test came back, if they did one?
well, sicne we are going tonight we will find out the results.

Denise, maybe it's something in our neighborhood ! I went to emergency room with DH for a throat infection on Father's Day and the weekend after that he too had an unexplained rash over the trunk of his body. I kept teasing him that he was getting jealous of all the doctor attention I've been getting. They never did find out what caused his throat infection, but said it was a contact allergy that caused the rash.
