I am wondering why she chose this clinic and not Cirnell or something. I've not heard much about them. And hey Alexis--everyone gets monitored every 2-4 days not just rich people. Even a shlep like me who paid 12k out of pocket
Also this line struck me as funny
She said once a month she'll inject herself with a drug that causes her to ovulate in 36 hours.
Yeah, the trigger shot? Lots of us get that too.

Speaking as the devil's advocate here, I think she HAS to present it that way, assuming she is talking to an audience that's 99% ignorant on these issues. That's EXACTLY how I present it to people I know who ask me about what I'm undergoing, and don't have a freakin' clue about what it all entails. Of course it sounds idiotic to us because it's second nature, but we all know how hard it is to explain the process to a complete ignoramus, right?

I like how Alexis was like "I go to my home in Tribeca"....ok Ms. Moneybags It just sounded weird.
To me she seems to have a very no-nonsense type personality - she was telling Oprah she sees every month as a challenge...
On the other hand, what did everyone think about the surrogates in India? What a culture shock.....I got teary when the girl saw her "dot" for the first time!
