Is this the baby???
For the past two days I've been feeling pains on both my sides for like a second, sometimes even in the middle of my stomach. They feel like two second gas pains...
I'm right around 16 weeks??? Or is it really gas?

if it's painful i would say it's gas...
the baby feels more like gas bubbles, not gas pains.

its not painful painful, but its like a pang of gas....
bad choice of words...who knows..

I think it is more stretching. The baby to me feels like wiggles or tapping.

I think I felt movement a few times over the past week. It feels almost like a vibration (not painful though). I've felt it on my side and in my lower abdomen. It has only happened at night, usually if I'm sitting or lying down. I'm still not sure if it's  though since it seems kind of early.
If it's painful, it may just be stretching, but if it feels like gas bubbles, it's probably the baby.

I don't know.
I too had something the other day that I really believe was the baby's movement. It didn't hurt, it didn't feel like gas really, I can't explain it so easily. It felt like a tap from inside. I haven't felt it since, I felt it at 16 weeks.

At the beginning it did sort of feel like gas, but it was not at all painful. You might be feeling round ligament pains but I hope it is the baby! Such a great feeling!
