As you know, I see the acupuncturist that works with the RE's office, so he is very pricey (I bought a package of 10 sessions and it was just over $1k). I suspect because he's got to give a portion back to the RE office. The week he was on vacation, I went to an IF acupuncturist over by Morristown Hospital and that session was $85.

I am currently paying $65 per session at LI Holistic. My insurance does not cover accupuncture so it's totally out of pocket.

Go to an acupuncture college! It's only $20 a session!
There is one in Mineola and one in Syosset. I went to the one in Mineola. Your treatment is given to the "students" by the doctor and then they just put the needles in. They meet with you for a long time and do lots of stuff like look at your tongue and ask you every question under the sun.
ETA: I think you live in Jersey? Or someplace not on LI, if I'm correct.
Here is a list of schools. Many of them have clinics.

Thanks everyone! Yes, Im in NJ. I looked in NJ but there is one in Montclair which is pretty far for me. I'll take a look around closer...just wanna be prepared for the $$.

I pay $60 at LI Holistic, I get a discount with my insurance Plan. It doesn't cover it, but I still get an Oxford discount b/c of my plan. I've always paid $60 (this is my 3rd acupuncturist). I used to pay upfront at another one and got a discount because of it. So that is something to think about too.
