Think I'm on my way to IVF...
Well I'm only 9DPO but I def feel like AF is on her way.  In any case we had decided at the beginning of this cycle to move forward to IVF if the 3rd IUI didn't work.
We are scheduled to attend the IVF class on July 1 and I have an appt with Dr. Brenner on June 30.
 Do you think that I will be able to get started with IVF this coming cycle?
When I see Dr. B I should just be getting AF so I'm hoping he'll be able to start me on the meds right away. I am very very nervous to begin this whole process. I think the scariest part of this is the "what if it doesn't work?". I was so sure that the IUI would do the trick and now here I am...approaching IVF.  I know I have to stay positive, I guess all of this is just getting to me right now.

I'm right there with you guys-putting on lifejacket as we speak 
We go to discuss IVF with dr. tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck but I don't think IUI is going to work for us.

We made the same decision after our second IUI (well we decided if it failed we would go to IVF). So I made the consult for during my 2ww (we had almost no chance of it working as DH's post wash counts were only 200,000). I was supposed to start stims as soon as I got my AF and skip the BCP's, but I ended up having a cyst and going on BCP's anyway. So essentially, yes I did start right away since I started taking the BCP's then. I think it will depend on your RE, but I don't see why there would be an issue starting you on the BCP's if you have had all the necessary tests done. Best of luck to you

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I hope this is not the case but, if it is, best of luck to you.
I think you would definatley be able to start asap. I would call your nurse now to let her know your plan that way they can be prepared when you meet with Dr. B.

I started 2 weeks after my consult. I did not take BCP or Lupron because my natural cycle concurred with their next cycle

I am so sorry the IUI's didn't work. Don't give up hope, IVF will work for you...i may be joining you too!
This is such a long, hard journey, we have to believe it will work for us. I go to Dr. K on Tuesday, I guess we will both have answers next week!
Keep me posted, I really hope you get the answers you are looking for!!!!

First off, and remember it's not over until AF shows up. With that said, the protocol Dr. B recommended for me is 3 weeks on BCP. During that time there are tests (endo biopsy, water sono, blood work) and then the stims start. The whole process from start to beta is about 6 weeks by my calculations.
