Libido after a MC
I'm so embarrassed to post this, but I have no one else to ask & this board is somewhat anonymous...
I have NO sex drive any more It's been 2 1/2 weeks since my m/c, we've only done it once & I had to seriously force myself I'm waiting for AF because we want to start trying again, but I honestly don't know how that's going to happen when I just don't want to be touched My dh is great & has let me be/not said anything, but I know that he's wondering what's going on (we had a very healthy relationship before)...I feel so guilty & I don't know what to tell him All things considered, is this normal? Is it my hormones? Will it go away eventually? Please help...I'm feeling like such a bad wife these days

Thanks ladies
I think that I needed to just get it all out I'm going to continue blaming the hormones for another week or so & just try to wait it out. In the meantime I'll make sure that my dh really knows how much I love him

Your post breaks my heart I'm so sorry you're going through this. But like all the girls have said, it WILL pass. This is definitely understandable!

Sorry to crash... I think what you are going through is totally normal, and understandable. You are still greiving. You will get there when you're ready and I'm sure your DH understands that.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling the same way
My doc didn't tell me to wait, but I read in a few places that you should 1 - 2 weeks so at first I used that as my excuse. I've been reading how most women can't wait to get right back in there though & it's been making me feel like maybe I'm "broken"...I don't know what to do...other than wait

You'll get there!
A miscarriage is a lot to deal with physically & emotionally. You need time to heal..
You'll get back to being you.

Re: Libido after a MC
You need to take as much time as you need to feel comfortable.. When I had a m/c last February dh and i were both in shock neither of us were jumping at the chance right away. But after I got past the first cycle both of us again wanted one so much we didnt want to wait in april decided to give trying a chance since it was a natural one in february... i was sucessful in april then m/c'ed in June with no explanation from the doctors... Definately check with your doctor first on how long they want you to wait inbetween.
