Traveling with IVF meds
I am to start Lupron tomorrow morning. I am also going upstate for the weekend after a graduation ceremony tomorrow. My crazy question is...what should I put my Lupron in to keep it cool for 4+ hours? My drs want the Lupron refridgerated.

when my meds were shipped to me they were in a styrofoam container w/ a frozen ice pack on the bottom.... you could probably put the lupron (in the box) in a ziploc bag and put it near it but not on it- so there's no risk of it getting too cold... this is what I usually do when we have to travel and I have my meds.

I put mine in a insulated bag (like a lunch bag) with some ice packs and wrapped the actually med boxes in plastic also.
It worked really well.

It worked really well.
I did the same thing when I flew to Baltimore back in January. I was waiting for security to question me on the needles. Nothing, they didn't even notice them. You should be fine during your drive.

I will be traveling down to NC next week and I am starting my meds towards 4th of July...the nurse said I can just put them in a cooler with ice.
