Which place is better to register at in your opinion? Do you find there is more of a selection at one or they are just about equal?

Re: registering
I know some people swear by Buy, Buy, Baby, but personally as a shopper I would do Babies R Us. More locations, plain and simple.

Re: registering
I preferred BRU.......had more of what I wanted and like the other poster said, more locations too which I thought was a plus. Some of my friends registered at both so you can do that too. Have fun!!

Re: registering
BBB doesn't have many locations...
I HATE BRU. I consider it to be some sort of wierd registry monopoly (much like fortunoff's is for weddings). I believe it's undeserved, since their prices are frequently high, and many things are out of stock.
However, everyone's technophobic aunts will refuse to order online, so you're forced to have a registry at a brick-and-mortor shop. So, I caved and have a small registry at BRU for the aunts.
My main registry is with amazon. Prices are upto 20% less than BRU, and many items have free shipping.... not to mention the selction is 1000X larger than any traditional store could maintain....

Re: registering
you will probably find more people will shop at BRU. BBB is nice and really organized but there aren't many locations and people out of state probably won't shop there. i hear target's registry and return policy is horrible!

I like BRU. BBB's set up is too weird for me and confusing.

Re: registering
The last two showers I was at had BRU and Pottery Barn Kids registries. We're considering the Land of Nod for some stuff. They are the Crate and Barrel kids site.

Re: registering
BBB seems more for the modern shopper less traditional...has more organic/ tree hugger stuff (i am not saying that in a bad way...i just am not into that stuff) So i prefer BRU cause i am more traditional from names to registering!!!!
