I found out for both mine and will find out for this one too.. I think it is a great suprise half way through your pregnancy to know what your having then you can prepare for the baby and when you give birth to that boy or girl you will not feel short changed..You will soo ecstatic to just hold him or her..
a friend of mine didnt find out till she had the baby and when they told her girl she was a little upset because deep down she said she wanted a boy and thats kind of a stinky feeling to have the day you give birth...It should be your happiest day no matter what

I think its great to not find out! Then you can use everything the second time!! This is exactly one of the reasons I didn't find out--I wanted a bunch of green and yellow stuff!

I agree also...don't do it! My due date is almost here and we don't regret our decision to wait until delivery day!  Go team green!
I agree as well. We didn't find out either and going into that last push in delivery and having the doctor say "It's a boy" was deliriously amazing. There are very few real surprises in this world - in my opinion, none bigger than this. Good luck in deciding

for our first we were surprised and so glad we did that, for this pg we found out, this way we have the best of both.
if this is your first- I would def be surprised- its an amazing feeling after you give birth!

I hate yellow and green. My registry already looks like a pink cotton candy factory and that's how I like it.

I had friends that didn't find out and their reasoning was it was one thing that kept them going to the end, the excitement of not knowing...as for me I couldn't hold out, DH was begging the doc at the ultrascreen to take a guess, and now I'm freaking out that I have to wait 2 months to get a confirmation or not on what they guessed!!! So I say find out, but thats just bc I would

Ok, another reason not to find out.
AT your shower you will get clothes, yes, gender neutral, but whatever. If you know what you are having you will either get every pink baby item under the sun, or every blue item under the sun.
IF you don't find out, the clothes will be neutral, until you have the baby. then, people will go out and buy a blue or a pink outfit for the baby.

I'm glad we found out then...b/c just looking at her and finding out it was a girl in that moment was a rush of emotions that are priceless.
But if you want to wait, def have the tech write it down and seal it in an envelope. You and your DH can open it when your ready.

We found out with AJ and will find out with this baby as well in a few weeks. I have no regrets at all and it made planning so much easier for us.
Either way, it cant be changed whether you know now or in another 20 weeks.

I will agree (although we heard "It's a Boy!"). Best feeling ever! But you have to do what is right for you & MrPornStar.

My cousin had her results put in an envelope, and their timing worked out that they opened the envelope together xmas morning.
Maybe this is something you can do together on Fathers Day, or when you're a bit more ready to find out.
Whatever you decide, post here immediately. Do not pass Go , do not collect $200.

Agreed! We didn't find out. You only get so many surprises in life and to hear "Its A ..." is awesome!
The Dr. and Nurses were so excited we didn't know. I was glad I made the guessing fun for them too..LOL.
To me, not knowing was a bit hard, but the excitement was awesome the day DS was born. I kept everyone (including me) in suspense.
