Blood tests...
How reliable is a blood test? Are they more accurate then urine?
I have read different things about it. Your thoughts?

Re: Blood tests...
From what I understand blood tests are extremely accurate in detecting pregnancy. Good luck to you

Re: Blood tests...
Quantitative blood tests are extremely accurate. They tell you the level of HCG in your blood. Anything over 5 is considered pregnant.

So do I have to specifically ask for a quantitative blood test? Or is that the routine pregnancy blood test?
thanks!

I never had them so this time around I am going to ask for this. I feel left out not knowing my HCG
