laser declawing?
i don't believe in declawing. never have. i do not want to declaw my cat, but it's getting to the point where i may have no choice. everything is getting ruined.
i've used the double sided tape, the organic "no scratch" spray, making loud noises, a plug in "calming" thing, cutting the nails frequently, etc.
nothing is working. i posted on here a few months ago for suggestions and tried them all. no luck.
someone told me today about laser declawing where it's not the traditional declawing. the cat does go under anesthesia. but what i want to know is if the part of the "limb" is still removed as in traditional declawing.
i can't live like this and DH, who does not like cats and is actually allergic, is at his wits end. i have to do something. and before anyone flames me, please know that this is a rescued feral cat. i have been rescuing stray animals since high school and have relocated or TNR dozens over the years with my mom and sister. i love them and don't want to hurt them. but something has to be done with this cat.
so please, if anyone has heard of this, let me know what you know. i won't do the traditional declawing but this seems like a better option if it is what i am expecting it to be. i will be calling vets this week as well to ask about it.
information is all i ask for please. you don't find more of an animal advocate than me, and i know what happens with declawing. thanks.
