Do you ever worry....
..... that all your friends will graduate to the Pregnancy board and you will be the only one left here? I worry about that all the time and it seems so silly but it runs through my head all the time...

Same here. Actually quite a few girls that started with me on here have already had their babies and are a few months old.
I feel like the senior citizen of this board. I've been here a long time.

Same here...which is why I guess I don't post here too often anymore. I've moved on to IF. After 17 cycles...I thought I'd be on parenting by now.

Re: Do you ever worry....
I'm already left behind. Almost everyone that started trying with me in December '07 before my m/c is gone already. Actually, I think most of the people that were here when we started trying again after the m/c (late Feb/early march) are gone too. That's why I really need to stay away from these boards. I think it's just starting to get depressing

Me too. We've been trying since 10/06. I can't bring myself to go to IF very often. It scares me to think what will happen in the near future for me.

***I totally understand which is why I am under a fake name on here from LIW... I just didn't want to deal with the questions of IF and crap...
In regards to the PP...
I totally know how you are feeling... BUT... DH and I have been trying since last June-July... in April we made an appt with an RE to see fertility help... and let me tell you... it is brought a lot more confidence to us thinking that YES, someone is going to help us, and why waste time doing it naturally lets get those lil semen a head start...
I am so happy that we have done it... so please don't be scared of the IF board... I really was at first too, I made 3 appts with an RE and cancelled every one of them b/f I actually showed up...
I am not saying that an RE is going to solve everything, (I just had my first failure IUI) it sucks... but please don't be scared from the IF board and from seeing an RE... Good Luck!!!!

Re: Do you ever worry....
I have seen many people come and go here, some more than once. Which is why I mainly stick to the IF board. TTC is too much of a revolving door for me.

I agree. The idea of having to face the road of IF is pretty scary. I totally understand that. But the IF board is the best. It is filled with the most caring, understanding, smart women I have ever met (online).

Thank you so much. I actually have been seeing an RE since Sept. I had an IUI in Oct. which ended in m/c in Dec. We are now on our third IUI since the m/c. I'm now 7 dpo so we'll see what this month brings. One thing that scares me is that I'm almost at my limit of cycles on Clomid (I started it b/4 going to the RE). My RE said 12 cycles is the lifetime max or else it increases your risk of ovarian cancer. If this doesn't work soon I will be out of the game for good -- my insurance doesn't cover any IF treatments and we can't afford IVF or injectable meds.
