NOW WHAT....(sorry long) ****UPDATE***
Remember me telling all of you that I got the BFP on Tuesday and my husband is out of town, I decided to wait to tell him, he was supposed to be home on Friday night.
He just called me and told me that they are keeping him though the weekend and then they are sending him from there on Monday to LAX. He is not going to be home until the following Friday, now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do I do???????? I can't keep this to myself anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WWYD????? Please help me, I am a mess right now!!!
He is so upset thinking that this job is not worth ruining our marriage over (which it is not, I would be here no matter what!!) but he sounded so down right now worried about how I was handling him being gone all this time. It was not supposed to be like this when he took the job, he was supposed to be gone during the week and home every weekend, if he had to travel at all, so far just this trip he has been gone for two weeks straight, with next week that makes three including weekends........I feel so bad for him, but I really don't know if I should wait or tell him now.......
I know that I am just rambling now but he just called and I am so upset now.......................I don't know what to do, we really weren't planning on this baby right now, it is going to come as such a shock.........We had been talking but not really trying or not trying, ya know........
***UPDATE***
He is so excited!!!! I couldn't hold it in anymore and I told him while we were talking on the web-cams.....and then I emailed him the pictures of the BFP tests, he was so excited!!!!
I can't wait for him to come home and hold me........

I feel better now about the whole thing and I am so excited now!!!

I would tell him over the phone. I don't see the big deal in that and if I was him, I would want to know right away regardless how I was told

where is he? Could you go to him? It might not be do-able but maybe you can get a cheap flight and meet up for the weekend?
Last thing you need him to do is quit his job and then find out he's going to be a daddy!

I agree. No way would I be able to wait. I couldn't wait the 10 minute drive from the doctor to my house - never mind waiting an entire WEEK!! He will be so thrilled and excited no matter HOW he finds out!!
Can you maybe take a picture of your pregnancy test.. or something that says DAD on it (with Fathers Day coming up) and send him a cute email that he can open and be surprised? You can be on the phone with him maybe when he gets the email and he can open it them while you are on with him?

If you don't want to tell him over the phone, can you maybe send something sweet to his hotel room that he gets when you are on the phone with him so you can hear his reaction?

He is in AZ. right now, there is no way I can get to him...
We have web-cams for the computer and talk occasionaly though that, maybe if he can find the time we can do that.......do you think that would work???

okay - get him a time to be on the webcam....
have a heart to heart with him about his job....about how you understand that travel changes, etc...how you understand that it stinks and how you intend to stick by him no matter what....and that you actually think you'll be able to handle it much better, now that you'll have company......and let that sink in....he'll think you got yourself a puppy!!!!
then i'd just simply hold up a baby on board sign or something....
make sure you RECORD it - it'll be so adorable to have taped!!!!

I still think you should wait to tell him in person, especially since he is so down on his job right now, he might not take well to not being able to grab and hug and celebrate with you as soon as he finds out. Maybe you can just hint in the meantime

This is actually a great idea! Do you still have the pregnancy test? You can hold it up and give him a close up
and don't worry, no matter how you tell him it will be special
