Did anyone go to the OB at 6 weeks?

And what did they do? Did they do a sonogram or just blood? TIA. I feel like I forgot everything

i went at 5W 5D - it was just supposed to be a regular checkup, with a pap, but since i had some odd pains she ended up doing a quick sono and i got to see the little bean

i didn't even get my script for bloodwork until my 8 week appointment. i never had my beta or progesterone checked that i know of.

I have been to the doc several times already-- but, that is because I am sorta in special circumstances. I have had three blood tests, tomorrow I see a high-risk OBGYN per the recco of my RE and then next Tuesday I will have my first sonogram!

ETA--- I am pretty sure I am 5 weeks now.

i went at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and now 7 weeks

I went to by OB at 4, 5, and 6 wks. I had sono done each time but am also high risk.

I went at 5 weeks and had blood work and a sono. They only saw the sac. When I went back 2 weeks later they saw the heartbeat.

I went at 6 weeks and it was a regular check-up (pap,breast exam). We went back the following week and had a sonogram and sat down with our Dr. and went over our family history. I didn't get blood work done till 10 weeks.

I went at 5 weeks, 6 days with DD and heard and saw a heartbeat and did bloodwork

I went at 6w and she did an internal sono, took pee and gave me prenatals.

I went at 4 wks 5 days and saw two sacs and yolk sacs and had blood drawn. Then I went the next week at 5 wks 5 days and saw the HB's. However I was an IVF pregnancy so not sure.

I was not originally high risk. My first appt was 4w4d and they just did blood work to confirm pregnancy.

i went at 5 wk 5 days, they did blood and a quick sono. didn't see anything but a thick uterus tho

we went this AM. I thought I was 6 weeks, but turns out I'm 7 weeks 2 days. That being said, at 7 weeks, the fetus was visable and we heard the heartbeat.

Great question because I just got my BFP yesterday, and I calulated that I am 5 weeks. Today I called to make and appointment and the receptionist said that they don't want to see me until I am 8-10 weeks when there's a heartbeat.

I thought that was weird, but I don't know. I thought they would do blood work and a sono at this point

ETA: and what about prenatals? Luckily I have some from when TTC left over.

I went at 5 weeks and I had a pap done (I was due for one), they did a pregnany test (POAS), and a breast exam. Then I talked to the dr. about prenatals and any questions I might have had. I went back for my first sono a 2 weeks later.

It depends. I went today just confirm the PG, and that was it. They gave me a pap and sent me on my merry way. He said, "we'll talk again when we see that HB." I am just over 5 weeks, and am going for the sono next week, although I may push it a bit so I know I'm in a window where it is not too early to see/hear it.
