Patterns question
Did anyone else register for things not in the same pattern???
My stroller & carseat are one pattern. My high chair is another, and then the PNP & swing are another, and the bouncy seat is another.
Is this crazy? I mean everything is not going to be lined up next to each other but based on reviews and need and price this is the way it worked out. Should I try to coordinate better?

Re: Patterns question
I usually like matchy-matchy things, however, I didn't match up all the things you said either. I went by reviews etc.
I figured not everything is going to be standing next to each other for comparison.

Re: Patterns question
heh... I did exactly the same thing! even our carseat (chicco) and stroller (bumbleride) don't match. NOTHING DOES
We have a super-modern home (colors are black / grey/ white/ red). Our cars are both black w/ grey interior. we're TRYING to pick things that gel with that environment, but it's super difficult.... and obviously, reviews and cost have to be the main guiding factors, not patterns... so everything matchy-matchy goes out the window fairly quickly....
so, this is what we selected so far:

Re: Patterns question
then there are these 2 items that don't go AT ALL the playard will be at mom's so it matches her super-beige and traditional decor
the swing is super ugly IMO but it plugs-in to the wall, so it's golden in my book Image Attachment(s):

Re: Patterns question
none of my things match. i went by reviews and what i liked best.
it's all put together now and in different rooms so it's not like it matters. they don't all stay in one room together.

Re: Patterns question
I have the same pattern for my stroller, play yard, and high chair but only because I really loved the pattern and all of the items rated well. Other things I registered for are totally different.......my swing, my bouncy seat, etc. I think you register for what you like and don't worry about the pattern.......like you said, these things aren't going to be all lined up next to each other anyway.

same here - most of my stuff like the PNP and bouncer are the fisher price/simplicity rainforest, but that was only after reading reviews to make sure they were good. out car seat does not match our travel system, and those don't match the rest of our stuff.
i just wanted to go with gender neutral things so i could reuse them, for some reason the only place i felt the need to be matchy-matchy was in the nursery - i am getting everything from the same set.

Re: Patterns question
i too matched the carseat and the stroller but thats it. I got a different pattern for the high chair and the pack and play. It was mainly because of what was on sale and better priced. I figured, it doesnt all have to match and i have different patterns to look at! Besides, the pattern is mostly for us moms anyways.. you think the baby will mind?! nahh... just go with it!
