Fertlity Monitor
Unlike OPK's, would the monitor let me know if I "actually" ovulated? I get the  on the OPK's but I know that doesn't mean I actually ovulate.

Nope, same deal with monitor.
They can only detect the hormone surges, which do not guarantee that you ovulate.

I use the monitor and also thought that when I got my egg I was definitly ovulating. So is the only way to tell if you are ovulating is if the doctor does bloodwork?

The only way to know if you have ovulated is by blood test or by temping. Those are the only two ways. You can get all the symptoms and a surge and still not ovulate.

And ya know how the monitor instructions tell ya not to read the sticks, just read the monitor? Everytime I get my egg, the sticks have 2 blue lines also for those 2 days. Am I the only one?

i used OPKs and used the fertility monitor

I started looking at the lines this month. I don't know why i haven't done this before. The lines get darker as you get closer to getting the egg and then two blue lines the day of.

I have been obsessing over this all night. Everytime I get my egg it makes my day. I mean I am pretty sure I feel the ovulation and Dr. Brenner did confirm it, so I have to relax.
