Port Jefferson ?

Trying this again.

My thread was moved to food, why I don't know when I am asking WHAT to do in Port Jefferson, not just about FOOD.....

And I am not asking about living there, so this certainly doesn't belong under home.

I love Pasta Pasta...

There are lots of lttle shops to look in, you can walk along the docks, stop in a bar to have a drink.

You can just walk around and window shop. If you are looking for places to eat, there is Ruvo, Pace's and Pasta Pasta...those are my faves!

I love Port Jeff. It's such a cute little town.
You can walk along the harbor and watch the boats, there's also a little beach to the right of Danfords you can walk along.
There are lots of little shops with great stuff.
If you are looking to eat there's Toast, Pasta Pasta, The Pie, ZPita, Village Way (has outdoor seating) and Danfords. I know there's lots more I just can't think of them right now.
Another piece of advice, if you are walking around don't just stay on main street. There are more shops and restaurants on the road behind main street, up past starbucks.

Thanks! I will check these things out. At least I have an idea of what to do, where to go now.

Just remembered...there is an awesome spanish restaurant that you can only get to through the parking lot behind the stores.
I can't even remember the name - but it kicks azz!! If you go, have the mussels in red sauce!

ETA: It's called Costa de Espana!
