UGGGGG - Not better!

Just got back from my CD5 monitoring. I started an estrogen priming protocol which is supposed to get better results than what I did last cycle. So, I have 3 follies on the right and 1 on the left. How is that better?? Last cycle I had 6 at this point (5 on rt, 1 on left) and ended up with 8. Though of course they were all horrible. I just don't get it. Why would I have less? I feel like I cannot win here. This is the results I got when doing IUI.

And I just told DH and now he's thinking we should call this off. I don't want to do that. Why does he always say the wrong thing to me? He doesn't understand any of this. Now I'm on a negative spiral.

I'm sorry- I wish our DHs could be more sympathetic sometimes At our consult yesterday when the dr was asking me certain ?s my DH was pointing to certain areas on my body (pointing from under the table so the dr didn't see him) re: hair growth and stuff- things from PCOS. He made me feel worse than I already did When we got in the car he said "What, you didn't want to mention...xyz....to him" and I just looked at him and rolled my eyes--- then he said "Oh, sorry". DOPEY men!!!!

I know this won't help..

But you are still early on! I went on Sunday for my Day 3 Stim check, and I'm on a real heavy duty protocol this time around, and my ovaries were REALLY quiet! It's frustrating, I know! Your bloodwork will tell the rest of the story!

I know few people that did EPP and they said that it takes longer than a regular protocol.....the EPP slows down your system but in return it supposed to help with quality.......

Thanks all. I'm feeling a little better. I am going to stay calm, go back in 2-3 days and see what I get. i know I know its all about quality. I just want a few more to have a better chance. Whats that Rolling Stones song "you can't always get what you want....you get what you need". Could Mick be my inspiration OK, my wacky humor is coming back, that has to be good. I need to stay positive. I'll go do my imagery meditation I got from my acupunturist. That will calm me. Plus DH came home to see how I was. I didn't even think he was in the area.

I know those negative spirals all too well. Try to catch yourself from heading downward. I am sure if your RE thought this cycle was a bust he would have told you to cancel. It might put your mind at ease to call and speak directly to the doc.
