Jeannine...back in the day my best girlfriend and I used to prune peoples rose bushes for them  I know I know it's horrible but we were young and usually very drunk.

hmmm rose bushes...wanna hear my rose bush story?
there were green hoiuses from the 1900's with old rose bushes I mean tons!!!!!!!!! a neighbor told me they are leveling it and everyone is taking them..so i go there with all my gear---its so freakin scary its no joke--the glass ceiling is caving in---the neighbor gave me his german shepard for protection.
I spent all day with two friends digging...
not a good time of year...95 degrees in August but I figured it I save one from being bulldozed so be it.
so.........in the afternoon I talk dh into coming back with me...to save more..
he steps on a hive and gets stung like 7 times and hes like thats it..I am out of here! we leave and the damn bees were stillin his pant leg...
I went back...
31 rose bushes...from being bull dozed.
I think 7 survived..but hey..I got a piece of heritage...
