My insurance is the worst !!!
I now owe the lab $600 for my 1st glucose test I cant imagine how much its going to be for the 3hr

I am soooooo calling them !! This isnt fair !! I am so sick of insurance companies !! We pay so much money for our insurance . For the kids alone we pay $400 a month

DO NOT pay that until you've investigated. As an HR professional who handles a LOT of benefit claims I NEVER pay the first bill. They send that out I swear just to see if you'll pay it. It's almost never right. Call them, and if you're not satisfied have your benefits team speak to your account rep. That's just ridiculous!!

Wow very intersting to know !! Thank you so much !! I actually didnt pay the 1st bill b/c I thought they sent it to me by mistake but I just got the second one today so Im going to call !!

Hey Val, I'm getting a lot of BILLS too, even though I have good insurance; is it possible you haven't met your deductible for the year?? I just met mine last week

Speak with your HR person to take care of it! It is possible it wasn't 'coded' right, or the insurance company didn't get information on why it was necessary.
Yes, all excuses i've heard from my insurance company.

My deductible is $2000 I definately surpassed that !! I had 2 sonos at that alone was almost $1000

It is possible that they didnt submit it to the insurance company...Do you have your EOBs from your insurance company saying that they didnt pay the bill and why??? I had an issue and it was b/c the lab didnt put the correct diagnostic code on some form and the insurance company denied the claim. If you dont have the EOB call the insurance company and see if they have a claim for the date of service from that lab..

Its an explaination of benefits. Your insurance should send one out with each claim.

What insurance do you have? That's crazy - they have to send you an EOB. It shows what was covered, what was paid to what date it was done to submitting.
