AI: Did anyone else notice...
When Brooke got eliminated and sang her song- how awkward the rest of the contestants were? They didn't know what to do! They just sort of stood there, David Cook tried to put his arm around her...but he didn't quite get there....and there was this huge distance between them and her. My DH said it's just cuz they're letting her have her moment- but usually when someone is emotional, singing their goodbye song, the people crowd around the 'eliminated' giving her hugs and whatnot.
Weird....no Brooke love by the other contestants? Seacrest was the only one to give her a hug, and then she turned away from everyone...very odd.
Or am I the only one who noticed this?

actually, now that you mention it, it was a little strange. i DID notice and find it weird that ryan was so consoling to her - I don't think I've ever seen him be that comforting to another eliminated contestant.

i kind of got the feeling that she was "that girl" in the apartment... the nervous probably-doesn't-speak-on-performance-days, sing-her-scales-in-the-shower kind of girl.

Yeah she was probably as annoying to them as she was to us!
And yeah, Yesenia, I thought he was awfully consoling too. Very weird.

Is it bad that I laughed...she was sobbing, and after her I'm a believer performance I knew she was going  home.....she reuined one of my favorite songs....glad she went home, glad noone hugged her, she seemed snobby...and tried to hard to be "earthy"

yeah, I think Ryan was more upset then the rest of the group

I actually watched it on You tube to se be sure, b/c my DVR cut it off, too.
It was weird. I think Jason & David A are too young & not comfortable around girls, especially volitile crying ones, and I don't think she & Syesha were tight, so that left David C.
He tried, but it seemed like he thought he was making it worse, so he backed away.
And I agree with Shorty--I think she was totally the nutcase of the group!

Totally noticed it. I was like Whoa! How awkward and uncomfy they all look with her bawling. I also noticed Cook pushing Brooke forward when she was singing her goodby song which was odd.
