AF question - during stims
I go back to the Dr. tomorrow but I figured I'd consult with the team first  ....We are in an IVF cycle- Had spotting on 3/22- started BCP's 3/24- started Lupron 4/2- and finished BCP's 4/6- continued on Lupron...Started Bravelle & Menopur on 4/11 and got an AF (pretty heavyish) 4/12...I never got an AF after stopping BCP's and I have it now - Is that normal ???...The RE had said it didnt matter to him if I got my AF after the BCP's or not and last cycle the same thing happened- no Af after BCP but had spotting during stims (not heavy like this time)...When I went in on 4/11 my lining was a 6...How relevant is your lining at this stage in the game- Will it thicken back up by ER ???? Thanks for anyone who can shed any light on this for me !!!

I'd say you're okay! I was surprised when I got AF during my last stim cycle b/c the nurse told me I wouldn't after stopping the BCP. I was told it was normal and not to worry about it.
According to the doctor I saw the day before my ER, my uterine lining was BRILLANT! I don't think it should be an issue for you. G/L this cycle!

My last cycle, when I stopped the BCP's I got my AF. Heavy too. The nurse said not to worry b/c I still had pleny of time before the retrieval for the lining to get to where it needed to be and, it did. I though it was a little strange and I was nervous but, it was fine.

Sorry to hijack your thread-- how long do you usually get AF after stopping bCPs? This is my first time on them in 10 years and I'm not sure what to expect...

Sorry to hijack your thread-- how long do you usually get AF after stopping bCPs? This is my first time on them in 10 years and I'm not sure what to expect...
I responded this morning in your thread, but mine lasted about 2 days

Yeah you did- and I even responded  Can you tell I'm out of it today???? Thanks! I'm feeling so crampy today but I know it can't be AF yet- I only finished the BCPs last night so my system doesn't know that they're done yet...

for my IVF cycle I didn't get AF right after I got it a few days later when I was already on the meds. I am not sure how many days later, but I know it was a few.
ETA
my lining was thick enough by the time of my ER. you should be fine!
