So, do you guys all follow the instructions to a T. They say to hold in your urine for 4 hours and do not drink a lot of water prior and the best time to test is between 12-4.. URGH this is so annoying.... I feel like I missed it because I did not follow the direction exactly.

which part aren't you following?
I'm thinking that if you hold in your urine for only 3.5 hours, it will still be fine!
I've heard the best time to test is between 2 and 8 pm though.
I think you're okay as long as you've held in your urine for at least 3 hours and are testing in the afternoon.

I agree. There have been times where I was only able to hold about 3.5 hours & I still got an accurate result. I always test between 5-7pm & I also try to not drink more than one glass of water in those 4 hours.

I try to time it exactly so that I can test as soon as I get home. So you might want to try to use the bathroom at work 4 hours before you'll walk into your house that afternoon/night. KWIM?
I usually get home at 4, so I pee at 12, then hold it until I get home.

I understand your frustration, I, too was in your shoes at one point.
I highly recommend the CBEFM. I held off from buying one for a very long time but I wish I hadn't. Honestly, it's easier than the other OPKs I was using. You wake up in the AM POAS and that's it. No holding it, no specific time to test, just get up and POAS.
They're more expensive than the regular OPKs but it's so accurate, you can't beat it.
ETA: Also, you may have not missed anything. I was convinced I O'd on CD 10 or 11 when according to the CBEFM I O'd this month on CD 13 and 14. If I'd have gone with the other OPKs I'd never get PG.

ITA, but with one exception. There is a specific time you have to test, but you get to choose.
You get a three hour window before ad after your chosen time.
So, for me, I set my CBEFM for 5:45 amwhich is the time I wake up for work. This way I can test between 2:45 am and 8:45 am. You get to use FMU which is good. On the weekends, I like to test with "middle of the night" urine at maybe 4 am (so I've been holding it since I went to bed that night) this way it doesn't stop me from sleeping late!
