I hate my body

So just when I was getting my hopes up for a new cycle and getting excited to start again, I have a GIANT cyst in my left ovary.
Great. Now I can't do anything. Now I am waiting for bw results to see if its making hormones.

I am also annoyed because I saw this big giant cyst on the sono, the sono tech said it, measured it, printed the picture of it and somehow the NP missed it on my chart. She's writing up the script for clomid and I'm like "uh, what about that big cyst in my left ovary?" Its the first time I left that office feeling less than very satisfied with their care. I guess everyone can have an off day, it really goes to show you we HAVE to be our own advocates and speak up for ourselves.

So of course I started crying when we left the office. I feel so bad for DH he doesn't know what to do or say any more. I'm starting to think maybe I should talk to a professional to help me get through all this. Having the miscarriage and the two pregnancy announcements has made everything a lot worse for me. Especially the miscarriage. I thought when it happened, well at least I know I can get pregnant, but now I wish it never happened because I just keep thinking about what could have been, and I know thats unhealthy.
Sorry, this wound up being a lot longer than I intended.

ETA:
I got the call back that it is indeed a cyst. I go back in a week to see what it is doing. If its getting smaller and stops producing estrogen, I can go on clomid then. Otherwise we'll have to sit out yet another month.

I can only speak from my own experience, but going to therapy has really helped me - it doesn't take the pain, angst or frustration away, but it helps you deal with it better, and remain positive throughout

I'm sorry you're going thru this Lauren. I had cysts on my ovaries after my last IUI and had to sit a couple of months out-I know how frustrating it is... I'm here for you

I am sorry you are going through this. I had to take March off because of 2 cysts on my ovary and I was very upset also. I have also been thinking about starting therapy. All of this really wears you down and it gets hard sometimes to stay positive and optimistic.

)I understand. I went in today and found out I have FIVE ENORMOUS CYSTS on my right ovary. FIVE!!!!! One of them was a 38! She said, I cant believe you're not in excrutiating pain! My cycle is DEFINITELY cancelled. She didn't even send in my bloodwork (after she already took my blood )

Ugh, cysts are the worst. I'm sorry - I hope it goes down soon and you don't have to miss the whole cycle!!!

I'm sorry Lauren i know how badly you want to start your new cycle. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that it goes down on its own in the next week!!!!
