Me!! All about ME!

So upset.
So I had my level II yesterday, but the tech couldn't get all the necessary readings since the baby was in the worst possible position  !!! He was lying all the way at the bottom of my stomach, sleeping on his tummy with his head tucked in his chest. The oj I drank on the way to the appointment obviously didn't work because the little nugget wouldn't WAKE UP!! My DH started tapping on my tummy to try to get him to turn- no luck there either. The baby must have got mad that we tried to wake him up so he started kicking his legs, waving his arms & rubbing his eyes.
Looks like I have a stubborn one on my hands! 
Oh well. Now I have to go back in 2 weeks. Before I go, Im going to eat a box of NERDS and drink a gallon of something LOADED with sugar!!

So sorry the baby would not cooperate Janie... Glad to hear though that he started kicking & waving when you tried to wake him up! He is already starting trouble  Hope he cooperates next time

Bring a sugary snack with you to your second appt.
The same thing happened to me at my level II, and I had to go back for a second sono. The tech told me to bring some chocolate with me on the second visit in case the baby needed extra sugar.
Sure enough the baby was being stubborn again at the second appointment. I ate half of an Entenmann's brownie and then layed on the left side for a little while, and it worked.

Ugh I know how you feel! I had to do 3 sonos and an echo because the baby would either not move out of the position she was in OR move so much they couldn't take any clear pictures.

she already said she drank oj...
janie that stinks, i am sorry. i know my baby goes crazy whenever i have candy or ice cream - i plan on eating a huge pack of starbursts before my level II.

Awwe I had the opposite problem I drank OJ before I went and she wouldnt stop moving so I had to go back too but we got to see her again

We had the opposite problem - my  moved so much that they couldn't get clear readings or pictures of her heart and some other organs. We had to go back the next week for another one. But, hey - it means an extra glimpse at your new little love!!

DS has been head down and facing my back since before my level II, so I have never seen his face :( We even went for a 4d, and could not get one good shot, he was just not interested in moving, the one chance we had to see his face, he put his hands over it....he kicks and punches non stop, but refuses to let me see his face.

I drank some orange soda before I went for my level II......it did the job!

I drank OJ before my first Level II and although we wound up with most of the measurements he definitely wasn't cooperating.
I think maybe by the time we got there he was tired from being so wired.
The second time we went for the Level II he was much more active and I didn't eat or drink anything sugary before the appointment.
