Yikes so gross...
There was a teacher in my school who dated on of his students and after she graduated they got married. It was a few years before they fired him and it was all hush hush.. Weird. My friends and I were talking about this the other night.
Ohh and coming from someone who teaches high school.. You get hit on constantly by the little walking hard ons... but at what point does it go from thinking "stop hitting on me.. little kids" and verbally telling them to cut the sh it to "okay here is my cell number, text me and lets hook up"???????????????????????????????????????????
Seriously where are your moral, ethics and just plain common sense.

I work in a high school and even as a much older counselor, I do still get the occasional hit on- amusing and slightly gross though. I can't imagine wanting to even touch any of my students

This has happened 3 other times in Wantagh and each time, the student was lying. I'm not saying that this is the case here but let's remember...innocent until proven guilty.

Are woman getting more and more desperate? I work with HS students and although I think some of my students are cute- they do NOT even have facial hair for god sakes. *** is wrong with some people. How someone could be attracted to a child is beyond me. Who is that sick that they would even go through with this?

I don't know how a teacher would throw away her career like that. It is crazy. I teach HS students and I can't imagine this even happening. I don't tell the kids any personal information about my life. That is crazy.

Carl Bonuso, superintendent of schools in Wantagh, declined to comment Thursday morning except to say that Kennedy had been "immediately administratively reassigned out of the classroom to her home pending the outcome of the investigation.
Because legally it's innocent until proven guilty. And godforbid she gets aquitted because either the DA screws up, or the jury contains a bunch of morons, she will have a major slam-dunk lawsuit against the school and the town.
I understand why, but it's just disgusting to think she had sex with him and is now getting paid to sit at home.

Honestly after seeing what I have seen in my district this year I think they did the right thing. We had a TA that the kids didn't like. The kids alleged that the TA was saying sexual things to them and being inappropriate. They terminated him. Well now it has come out that the kids lied because they didn't like him and that they feel that they can do this to any one at the school. They have went so far as to threat to do it to others. So until she is proven guilty then don't condemn. But if she is guilty then she should be tried as a sex offender IMHO

i hate these stories!
it guves all of us good teachers who would do anything for our kids a bad rap!
if she's proven guilty i hope she loses her teaching license not just in NY, but EVERYWHERE!!
