Stupid question!
OK, so if you get a +OPK, does that mean you def ovulate? Would someone get a + and then not ovulate? Does this make sense?!!

I'm pretty sure that a +OPK does NOT guarantee ovulation.
It means that you've had an LH surge which typically indicates impending ovulation, but I don't think it can "tell" since it can only detect the surge, not actual ovulation.
Hold on, I'm going to google it.

Okay so from what I'm reading... it IS possible to get a +OPK and not ovulate. You'd need an ultrasound to verify ovulation.
I'm also reading that certain fertility drugs like Clomid can cause false positives on OPKs when testing begins too early, and that coupling OPKs with BBTs is more reliable to ensure that ovulation has occurred.

Thanks!! I'm just freaking out and thinking I don't ovulate now!!!! I have regular periods and nothing to indicate I don't, but I am a freak!!!

Nothing. I just have it stuck in my head that I will have trouble becoming pregnant for some reason  . I know I just need to relax!!

Let me tell you about that fear - I was convinced practically my entire adult life that would be the case for me, and I got PG completely by accident with DS!!!
