I have embrace pet insurance. They seem reasonably priced. I got it mostly for emergencies and large bills. Thank God I haven't had to use it.

We have insurance through VPI.
VPI
It's about $23 a month for their Superior package without the wellness care (shots, regular visits).
Like the PP we got it more for emergencies (knock wood we havne't needed it).

I have VPI too!
When we got Jasmine (Rottweiler) she was 4 months and we also enrolled the our 6 year old cat, Chilly.
They are almost the same, the cat is $1 more per month. we paid for the year outright, it came to be about 24 per month.
With the puppy it was worth it all her shots and stuff the first year.

I have Petcare insurance through Petco. I had VPI for a few years and found that their rate of reinbursement for NY fees were horrible. Petcare has been better for us.
