I feel your pain...the Plaza Diner in Plainview closed a few weeks ago and they are knocking it down to put up a Walgreens!
what gives with all the Walgreens and other drug stores popping up all over the place lately?   do we really have that big of a drug store shortage?
Are you talking about the one on S. Oyster Bay rd by Woodbury rd? if so, it actually closed months ago. First from a fire, then reopened. Then closed again shortly after. And yes, another pharmacy "Walgreens".

Wow, i LOVED this diner, im from NHP and this diner had the best coffee and eggs!
I am going to miss it!
