Just when I thought it was gone...
My EWCM is back in full effect this AM.
What gives?
I got my Smileys on Tues and Wed. Just left over?
We Bd'd last night, but aren't I coming out of my fertile period now?

well that could be "leftovers" or it could be that you are still fertile... the OPK detects the LH surge but it's not a 100% guarantee that you will O the next day. you could have O'd today too.
plus lots of women get EWCM more than once during their cycle, even when they are not Oing... if i were you, i would consider yesterday my O date and today is 1DPO!!

it is definitely EWCM because I was able to get some in a cup of water to determine that it was in fact EWCM.
I took an OPK to see if I was having the LH surge and it's def negative.
I guess it's just leftover...

see, this is why you can't really only rely on tracking CM. When reading TCOYF, I feel like this is the main message they drive home.

i agree... it's a good indicator for some, not all. for example i never had EWCM - it was either very thick or not at all there. i had much better luck just using OPKs and pre-seed.

Randi..have you ever been checked at the GYN for PCOS? I only ask bc I always have CM and even before / after when I "thought" I was O'ing...my RE told me that women with PCOS often have more CM and give false O symptoms..

I had some bloodwork done and was cleared for PCOS.
I O'd yesterday, so it's not like it's far away from my fertile time.
I also got positive OPKs.
