Did I mess up?

First, Hi! I have just started to TTC and although I sometimes post on Home and Parenting, I haven't posted here much. I have a question about OPK that I was hoping someone could help me with. I stupidly bought the kits with the lines instead of the smiley. I thought how hard could it be to read the lines? Well, I was wrong. On Monday I got 2 lines and my surge line looked just about as dark as the other one, but it definitely wasn't as thick and it could have been a little lighter. So we did not BD (we were saving it up for the optimal time!). Yesterday the lines were definitely the same so we did BD last night. Today I took the test and there was barely a surge line at all. I wondering if we should have BD'd on Monday. Do you normally get 2 days of surges? Or are you only supposed to get one? Did I do the right thing by waiting for the very dark line? Ugh, this is confusing!!

Honestly I would have BD'd on Monday too but I think you are fine having done it on Tuesday. It's normal to only get one day of surge. I only got one this cycle.

I only get one matching line..... I think that you are fine........ heck BD again just to be sure

Thanks girls. We'll get busy again tonight for sure. If I'm only supposed to get one surge, then yesterday must have been it.
