ipod poll
I am buying DH an Ipod Nano for christmas and was wondering if it makes sense to get an apple computer in the next year to go with it. What do you ladies think. If you had an Ipod would you buy apple computer to go with it in the next year. thinking maybe for his birthday or anniversary.

I'm all about the Mac - I've had them forever.... BUT I'll be the first to tell you it's completely unnecessary to buy one just for the iPod. They're completely PC-compatible.

its silly to buy a new computer b/c youre getting an ipod. you just downlaod itunes.

I definitely don't think you need an apple to go with the ipod.
I myself I'm getting one for Christmas and I have a pc.
I think it's really a matter of preferance.

I don't see the relevance 
We both have iPods and we have an iBook + 2 PCs but one doesn't have anything really to do with the other.

Absolutely not. I got an Ipod last year & we still have our Dell desktop & IBM laptop.
If you have a really old computer you may need a new one to download music but it can be any kind of computer.
