I don't think that you are being selfish @ all. Its natural to want your family around you during special times and life events.
Don't be so hard on yourself- you are not selfish @ all.

I don't think you are being selfish.
I can tell I am being selfish if the actions I take are affecting other people negatively- like making them feel bad or limiting their choices.
