Re: Pregnancy and Memory Loss
Every time I experience a brain fart I say it's because the baby is currently growing brain which leaves mine unable to be used.

Re: Pregnancy and Memory Loss
I was actually thumbing through The Expectant Father (that makes one person in my house) b/c someone bought it for DH as a gift, and I remember seeing a part explaining that a woman's brain LITERALLY shrinks during pregnancy and then returns to normal size a few weeks or months after delivery. It's not that there is a loss of brain cells but just that the brain gets smaller...I don't even remember the exlpanation (can you guess why?) but I am totally going to look in the book again tonight so I can report back tomorrow.
I don't know what it true and what isn't, but I definitely recall reading that and being horrified.
