I don't understand why you would want to make a profit off of a co-worker/friend
Me neither
Because she's trying to run a business!
Seriously though- she's saving up to buy loosies in the joint.

Ditto.
Tho I'd round it to 6 or 7 just to make it even.

Re: What should I charge my friend....
I don't see why we should be asking her why she is charging her friend?
maybe she got them at a discount and is still below what they are going for in the jolly 'ol...
a lot of people here sell things on the side. I don't see how this is any different.

Re: What should I charge my friend....
i couldn't make a profit off a friend. i would round it up to the nearest dollar. friends always have each other's backs, and i know one day my friend would do something nice like that for me.

Um, OK. If this is true about the Welsh, this totally explains alot about my boss.
I have no idea. I just prefer to assume the worst possible stereotypes about unknown regions.
I agree... There is nothing funny about the Welsh really...except for the Coal Miner and Tom Jones jokes. It just made me laugh to say she was Welsh and thats why I didn't trust her!

Well, why shouldn't I? I had to do all the ordering, find them, pay for postage...and they are going for twice as much in the UK. So why shouldn't I make a little cash off the deal. I was going to stick them up on ebay for even more. I often buy costume jewelry in the states and sell it for profit to my friends and co-workers, they are happy to buy the items because they want them, they know I make profit off of them...its not a problem!

Re: What should I charge my friend....
When I lived in the UK I shared a house with a Welsh girl - in my case I would charge her double - I'm not a fan
But 10 quid is very fair. You would probably barely get anything over there for 3.25 these days.
