Re: cord blood?

We signed up with Viacord b/c they seem to be reputable and they do research at their facility (which leads me to believe they'll be there for a while).

Re: cord blood?

We are using CBR. After extensive reseach I felt most comfortable with them and my DR recommended them also.

Re: cord blood?

can I ask a follow up question?

how much does it cost? initially, and yearly storage fees? I know it's pretty Chat Icon , but cord blood is truly priceless.... so we want to brace ourselves for the expense.

TIA!

We did the same, for pretty much the same reasons and my Dr recommended it. It cost around $2000 for the initial banking and first year and is $125 per year after that.

i am not doing it. i have read up on it and don't find the benefits to outweigh the costs.

We did the same...we never banked. It was a tough decision, but we just didn't have the money and like you said...the benefits didn't seem to outweight the costs.

We are using cord blood registry. My OB recommended them.
