what do you think of these painting techniques?

i like #3 the best. did you see pics of julz' nursery? i love nurseries that have two different shades of the same color separated by a white stripe or crown molding.

Yes! I love Julz' ! I think we'll probably go that route...with a darker pink on the bottom and a lighter one on top with the chair rail.
