I've been in ur shoes, and I've done the same.
Yes u were justified.
when they say they'll be home within the hour and 3 hrs later they're not and the weather is bad, how are we not to think the worst.
ur dh should be happy u love him enuff to be concered to have even called his friend.

I agree with your actions but would like to add try giving him a taste of his own medicine not to punish him but to make him feel that fear you felt ... then maybe next time he will be a little more considerate

i would definately be mad. you were only being concerned. I get upset too when my DH does that. If he says he is going to be home in a little while and a little while turns into hours..its like can't you just pick up a phone and tell me that.

My boss went through this w/ her husband a few weeks ago. he called and said he would be home at 12:30 and he didn't stroll into the house till 5:00 in the morning!!! She was Pi$$ed/scared/worried. It's normal to react that way. Hope you guys can talk things out & you can express your feelings.

I wouldve done the same thing!! I definitley would be mad!
Quick story. A bunch of us went to Lake George one summer and we split up Guys one way, girls the other.
Guys went to a bar. "We wont be long"..They took the hotel room keys!
Well, it was 2AM and my friend and I are walking the streets looking for them. Cant find them.
We end up crashing in my cousins hotel room for a while, they finally came back!
You never saw 5 girls get so ****** at the guys!
