Question about disability
I am not pregnant but one of my co-workers is and my job doesnt offer maternity leavewith pay but doesnt the state give you diability leave with partial pay, but for how many weeks can she collect it for?

I think it's 8 weeks, it may be 6 weeks- and it's only $160.
eta- I think it's 6 weeks for Vag birth, 8 weeks for C Section

I don't know much but I do know the state gives you $170 a week. The length I assume is however long the doctor says.

After the baby the max is 6 weeks for vag and 8 weeks for c-section. And $170.
Before then if you are put on bedrest you can also collect .

Actually it's a one week waiting period, so you only get paid for 5 weeks or 7 weeks (c-section).
