Disability question..help
Does anyone know anything about disability??
I have no idea if I am entitled to it when I have the baby and I was wondering if anyone knew the guidelines? TIA

I believe it's 6 weeks and 8 weeks if you have a section.

There have been quite a few threads on pregnancy recently about this, and I think at least one of them had a link to the NYS site with more info. I'd do a quick search there to see if you can find it.

I am not sure if it is dissability, I thought a pregnant person would be entitled to FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). But I am not sure if it depends upon the size of the employer or not. Perhaps someone from HR might know more.

This is true...does your organization have 50 or more employees?
