I've been aggressively treating this MoFo, and its starting to dry out (you needed to know that, didnt you?!) but i'm afraid to try to rip it off (its almost at that point) b/c i don't want a scar.

tea bags, not tea bagging
soak in hot water, wring it out a bit, and then hold the tea bag on your lip....the hotter the better, but don't burn yourself
