Re: Do You Complain A lot?

I don't think I am, except about work, but I know the best judges would be people around me. I don't think people notice things (or don't want to) that are very obvious to others often times.

While I do complain, I also talk about things that make me extremely happy a lot. Which I'm careful of, because talking about my husband or family or house ad nauseum is also not cool.

I try very hard not to complain on this site, or start threads to do so. I usually don't read them either unless it's something I feel really strongly about. I figure if I'm not very interested in reading them, other people wouldn't be interested in reading mine. Chat Icon

That would have to be a big Hell to the YES for me!!. Although I wasn't ALWAYS like this. Unfortunatley lately given certain situations..I have been. and I hate it!!! Makes me feel like her:

Hard to say since I'm married to the president of the p!ss and moan about everything club so my complaining would just pale in comparison.

yup--- I am definitely a complainer.

There was just an interesting article on CNN.com about it though. It's really my way of venting and getting it out there... It helps me deal with stress. And the article really did say that people NEED to do it to blow off steam.

I need to forward this article to my Dh! He says I complain too much. And I probably do, but it helps me work through stuff. If I didn't complain it would get all bottled up inside. I definitely get this trait from my mother.

I don't think I complain a lot, but I did a quick poll with my co-workers and they have said. YES.

So I guess I am a big fat complainer!

Re: Do You Complain A lot?

Most of my complaints, which I typically only share with DH, have to do with other drivers.

Re: Do You Complain A lot?

Funny enough, DH and I were talking about this last night. He said to me out of the blue "you know, you never really complain about anything to the point that it's almost unhealthy."

It's just not in my nature to complain. Trust me I'm not an overly happy person I just don't feel the need to complain about things even when I should.

I will say I do vent about a bad situation now and then.

Re: Do You Complain A lot?

I am not a complainer. I have experienced some hard knocks in my life that made me appreciate the things that I DO have in my life. So while little things may be annoying here and there, I focus on the positive things in my life and appreciate the beauties.
