Anyone on that knows or bought xbox 360?
My dad has me looking online for xbox 360 for my brother. I am looking on Amazon and I found xbox 360 core arcade bundle for 279.99...the most affordable.

I actually went to Best Buy last night to buy the xbox. When i spoke with the guy there he said the arcade bundle is for younger kids, and that it has like zero memory and no hardware. He said the x-box that most people get is xbox360 pro.
They ended up having some there so I bought it, I think it was around 380 maybe? i can't rememeber.

I bought the bundle at Costco for $399.99. As of yesterday they had plenty.

I think this is the one I bought and my friend who is a computer guy and gamer told me it was good. Now reading the pp about memory I am nervous, so I hope its OK.

arcade system (your link) doesn't have a hard drive. If you want to download demos, save games (if you don't buy a small memory card), download movies, i would go with the next system.
Does whom ever getting this have HDTV?

I just bought DH the one that comes with two games. Its a 20g hard drive and it came with 2 games. It was 350.00 at best buy. A girl i work with got it for her DH she paid 350.00 no tax no shipping on amazon.com

Exactly. I wouldn't bother with the core. Upgrade to the one with the hard drive.
