Does anyone remember Kabangers / Clackers?
OMG I saw a show the other day and the 2 kids were doing it and it brought back soooo many memories (bruises on my forearms, wrists and that wonderful clack clack clack clack sound). I was a master at this.

LOVED Kabangers. Nowadays, kids have them but they are safe.  Instead of the hard balls being attached to floppy strings, they are supported on hard plastic arms...whatever...kids of today are going to grow up so wimpy.

Of course I remember those! My neighbor made them. Good times.....
To my knowledge no one in my neighborhood or school ever got clacked in the head when one flew off the string!

I LOVED kabangers. My nana gave me glass ones...on a yellow string. I wonder what happened to those? Not the best gift for a 5 year old. Man, did they hurt!

OMG I totally remember these!! Me, my sister and brother all had them and we would hold contests to see who could go the longest without smacking ourselves in the arm.
They hurt like a MOTHER!!!

OMG, I totally agree. Anyway, what's the point of kabangers on hard plastic arms? Isn't the goal to develop the skills to have the 2 balls hit? If they're on stiff arms, anyone can do it right off the bat

I had kabangers. We used to hurt ourselves sometimes, but they sure were fun!
I don't think kids would even like that kind of toy nowadays. Too prehistoric or simplistic for them, lol.
